MUKTESHWAR TEMPLE

Atop a hill, the highest point of the region, lies a quaint forest village, with an old fashioned post office, a small school and few huts. The supreme guard of this village is lord Shiva – The Mukteshwar Mahadev. Spirituality runs high at this Shiva Temple. A distant sound of temple bells, obstructed only by the blowing wind. The morning and evening aarti promises to cleanse ones soul from within.

CHAULI KI JAALI – The Sunset Point

A cluster of hanging rocks, giving a mesmerizing view of a vast stretch of Kumaon valley, is a place where you can experience both solitude and adrenaline rush, depending on where you plan to rest on this cliff. Located just 250 meter from Mukteshwar temple, the walk is equally pleasurable. Chauli ki Jaali also offers opportunity for adventure activities like ‘Ziplining’ and ‘Rock Climbing’
